Supplier Information
Authority to Purchase
Communication is to be conducted between the supplier and the authorized purchasing agent. Additional communication with other Lomont Molding personnel must be made known and approved by the purchasing agent.
Purchasing Procedures & Policies
It is required that the Supplier obtain a purchase order (PO) from the Buyer. The PO number issued must appear on the invoice, packing list, and pallet identification sheet.
Quote Guidelines
Please send the original quote to our purchasing agent with attached requisitioner if applicable. Due to cost management, we will continue to search for qualified vendors even after we have approved suppliers established.
Sample Guidelines
Samples to be received by Lomont Molding LLC free of charge should be arranged with our purchasing department. A purchase order is mandatory for samples that require payment.
Appointment Policy
Making an appointment is preferred, buy not mandatory. Making an appointment will ensure availability. Hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
Tax Exemption
Since Lomont Molding LLC is a manufacturer, most material that is purchased is exempt from use and sales tax. Exemption certificates sent per request by supplier.
Safety & Environmental Regulations
Lomont Molding maintains Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) on all hazardous chemicals. All purchased materials used in part manufacture shall satisfy current governmental and safety requirements for restricted, toxic and hazardous materials; as well as environmental, electrical and electromagnetic requirements and standards applicable to the country of manufacture sale.
A current copy of any applicable SDS sheets associated with the product being sent to Lomont Molding LLC must accompany each shipment.
Shipping & Receiving
Upon completion of a new addition, we will have 50,000 square feet of warehouse space available at our Mount Pleasant, IA location. In Texas, R&D Molders has 20,000 square feet of warehouse space available.
