Meet Lomont Molding’s April EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, Jake Burchett.
Jake has been with Lomont Molding for five years. He originally started as a Machine Operator within a few months promoted to Material Handler and is now in role as Lead Material Handler. In addition he gives extensive support to other departments like Lomont’s shipping, receiving, and secondary departments.
Recently Lomont added new “Box-On-Demand” equipment that allowed increased packaging efficiency and Jake is head of the project. He’s also involved with inventory management and continues to take on more responsibilities and challenge himself. Jake says the most interesting part of his job has been working with the inventory management and learning about all the data and work that goes into it.
Outside of work Jake is a busy married father of a daughter who is very involved in sports. He enjoys taking part in them in his free time as well as spending time with his family.
Jake brings an incredible positive energy to the Lomont production floor every day and is always looking for ways he can help. Thank you Jake for all you do!
