Meet Lomont Molding’s February EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, Tim Kracht.
Tim celebrates his 26-year anniversary as a part of the Lomont family this month! He started originally as a Tool Maker building and maintaining all the various molds used for production here. Demonstrating his strong work ethic and skillsets, Tim eventually found himself in-role as Lomont’s Toolroom Supervisor.
Recognizing his continued development of his abilities and years of experience, most recently Tim began in his newest position as a Manufacturing & Tooling Engineer. In this role he is able to apply his abilities on a broader scale – with a special focus on process improvement and spearheading initiatives in production.
Outside of Lomont, Tim has always called this area home – being originally from New London and residing there today. He is married with two daughters ages fourteen and seventeen. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family especially around coaching sports where his daughters are active. He also enjoys finding time for woodworking and home improvement projects.
When asked what was one of the most interesting things about Lomont for him – Tim spoke on the personal growth and opportunities that he has found through his tenure here. We’re proud that with Lomont’s growth we’re able to foster such growth and opportunities directly for our team!
