Meet Lomont Molding’s December EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, Casey Leffel.
Casey has been with Lomont Molding for over 4 years now. He originally started as a Machine Operator before promoting to Preventative Maintenance and then to his current position as a Maintenance Technician. His growth hasn’t stopped there though as he has continuously taken on additional technical responsibilities.
Most recently after one of his mentor’s retired, he has begun taking on additional responsibilities around diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, working with outside technicians, and in general having the diverse and trained knowledge to be able to delegate issues among other maintenance staff.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – diversity is a key to Lomont’s success. Casey ensures he stays informed and is always learning about all the various equipment and processes here at Lomont. He is known to always help where needed and act as a great resource for his colleagues.
When asked if he had anyone who had a significant positive impact on his development – he was quick to name each maintenance team member one by one. It is a great reflection of the amazing chemistry of our maintenance team that is visible on the floor every day.
Originally from the Mount Pleasant area – Casey has remained close as he currently commutes from Lockridge. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family, gardening, gaming, and various other creative hobbies.
