Meet Lomont Molding’s October EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, Kay Simmons.
Kay is an Account Manager who has been with Lomont since 2007. She started out primarily working with graphics and has worked with various other areas including scheduling, website management, production, and others.
In addition she also manages the majority of aspects of Lomont IMT, a proprietary industrial signage product line designed and patented here at Lomont Molding. Kay has been at the forefront of Lomont IMT since the beginning and has contributed greatly to its success and notoriety in its market.
While known to be a dedicated member of the Lomont team with a strong work ethic – she has recently been credited with continuing to push herself in the midst of many new challenges. This includes taking on additional challenges that have befallen many manufacturers in the wake of COVID19. We owe our continued success and adaptability in these times to team members like Kay!
Kay has been married for 17 years with her husband, Robert. They have two pet dogs, Lily and Buddy, that they consider a close part of the family. She is originally from Fort Dodge and moved here to Mount Pleasant in 2001. She still returns to Fort Dodge to visit her family who primarily reside there. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her dogs, crocheting, and working on projects outside.
