Meet Lomont Molding’s January EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, Bill Birdsell.
Bill works in Lomont’s Tooling Room as a Tool Maker. He has been with Lomont for almost two years and has been working as a machinist for sixteen years in total. In his role he is responsible for undertaking both repairs on existing molds and building new ones. He is also experienced with our Mastercam CNC machines and you can often find him operating them.
When asked; Bill said the most interesting thing about working at Lomont has been getting back into CNC machining and having the opportunity to continuously learn. He is known among his supervisors and colleagues for being extremely reliable and not being afraid to challenge himself.
Bill is a Mount Pleasant local and is married with three kids. Outside of work he enjoys coaching football and baseball, spending time with his family, and playing slow pitch softball.
Bill comes in every day with a great attitude ready to go above and beyond to ensure operations continue smoothly here at Lomont. Thanks, Bill, for all you do!
